Brief Description

Bramley Baths is a community-led, not for profit organisation providing a friendly and affordable space for health, fitness and well-being. The centre consists of a swimming pool, gym, steam room and studio, as well as community spaces, and regularly attracts upwards of 2,000 visits each week. The organisation is led by a voluntary board made up of people from the local area, employs 40+ people and has just celebrated its seventh birthday.

OUR VISION
To become a long-term viable community enterprise strengthening community spirit and acting as the driving force for new community initiatives in Bramley.
We will develop Bramley Baths into a well-branded top-class affordable attraction providing leisure, fitness and education for all which is available when people want to use it.
As an employer we will provide a good experience for our employees.

Over the next 5 years we will:
1. Develop the Baths into a viable sustainable enterprise with a business model appropriate to a community venture including ensuring that it is well run and effectively marketed.
2. Develop Bramley Baths into a top-class affordable attraction providing leisure, fitness and education for all and available when people want to use it.
3. Build strong effective relationships with the community and act as a catalyst for community initiatives in Bramley.
4. Create a good working environment for employees with appropriate policies procedures and practice.

Aims & Activities

We deliver a diverse range of fitness activities to encourage all the people in our community to become more active. This includes: 
•	a successful swimming lesson programme enabling over 1,500 adults, children and babies to take swimming lessons at the centre weekly. Our public swims are popular with our older members of the community, many of whom come for social connection as well as fitness.
•	Sunshine and Smiles: a group of families who have a child with down syndrome to learn to swim and enjoy spending time as a family.  
•	our successful Triathlon club trains together regularly at the pool and also run inclusive Go Tri events to encourage people to have a go at a mini Triathlon event. 
•	more than 30 fitness classes each week in our fitness studio, ranging from children’s dance classes, to Bootcamp and Zumba Gold
•	Open ‘pay as you go’ Gym offering sustainable fitness opportunities to the community at an affordable level, with a popular Junior gym membership.
