Maanch™ unifies the impact of institutional funders, companies, investors and social enterprises. We inspire and enable participants of the impact ecosystem to re-allocate capital and resources towards achieving the UN SDGs - through data, intelligence, dashboards and networks that make up our (M)-Invest and (M)-Give solutions.

(M)-Invest solutions enable forward thinking organisations to make impact-inclusive decisions. Asset managers and their clients can allocate capital to investments with the greatest impact, and companies can identify and visualise the impact they are having across their operations.

(M)-Give solutions serve the stakeholders of the philanthropy ecosystem by enabling operational efficiencies, cutting down the cost of fundraising and impact measurement activities, thereby increasing the impact of every donation.

Darshita Gillies

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Maanch is the manifestation of Darshita’s vision to create a fair future for all.

Her experience builds on and blends four facets, 'Finance and Strategy', 'Leadership Development', 'Technology' and 'Planetary Sustainability'. Her aim is to leverage the power of emerging technologies to address the complex business and societal challenges we face in a more sustainable, conscious, and strategic way. With a professional background as a Chartered Accountant, Investment Banker, Executive Coach, Impact Investing and FinTech/ Blockchain Specialist, Darshita also serves on Boards of 'For Profit' and 'Not-For-Profit' organisations.

Maanch was created by Darshita as a disruptor for greater good and a catalyst for long term sustainable positive change. By building a fully human organisation anchored by impact, her aspiration is for Maanch to serve the global communities that are most in need of support, in the most effective, collaborative and integrated way.

Sianne Haldane

Chief Impact Officer

Sianne Haldane works closely with Maanch's clients to help them understand, project, track and report their impact, ensuring our solutions are meeting their needs to become impact evangelists! Sianne believes that relationships are the linch pin in driving positive change and it is with this philosophy that she leads our client services to drive positive impact. 

She is a strong advocate and active member of sector-wide initiatives and thought leadership and is a natural "connector", creating communities that are mutually beneficial to enable impact. 

A dual qualified lawyer in the UK and in her native South Africa, she has had a career that has spanned 15 years across the Philanthropy, Impact,CSR and Private Client space.  

Sianne is also a Trustee of an international education charity which assists with social mobility of refugees and helping them get into tertiary education and is a committee member of the STEP Global Philanthropy Advisors Special Interest Group.

David Stead

Chief Marketing Officer

David leads strategic marketing and development working with clients, partners and networks to help create high value impact products, advisory, profile and thought leadership. With experience as a CEO and Commercial Director of major City, legal and consulting organisations, his passion is working across the social finance spectrum to help organisations increase their impact aligned to more responsible capitalism.

Before Maanch, he was Executive Director of Philanthropy & Development at Charities Aid Foundation, working with major donors and companies to generate around £400m of new donations and social investment each year and managing over £1bn of philanthropic capital. 

In addition to an MBA from IESE and a BSc (Hons) from Cass, David has qualifications from Harvard (Sustainable Business Leadership) and Oxford (Social Finance). He is a Board Trustee for the Royal Commonwealth Society and IESE Foundation and Board Adviser to the European Social Catalyst Fund and a digital volunteering platform.

Chris Robinson

Chief Technology Officer

Chris has 20 years of experience as a CTO/CIO including roles as CTO American Express and Global Head of Technology Innovation at KPMG. He is also founder of a FinTech Blockchain company and Advisory board member of several successful startups across the philanthropy and Fintech communities.

Chris’s twin passions are developing disruptive and innovative technologies and using technology to make an impact in the philanthropic space. In addition to his corporate CTO roles Chris was an Ambassador for Opportunity International in Asia and VP of Technology for the International Justice Mission in the US.

Joining Maanch has given Chris the perfect way of combining his passions and helping deliver highly innovative technology solutions to enable transformational change for good.

Larysa Chernenko

Director, Product Development

Larysa has extensive work experience in Marketing and Product Development having managed cross-functional product development teams and the development of online loyalty platforms for clients from the financial sector in CIS countries and Europe. She also holds two Bachelor’s degrees in International Economics and Business Management, as well as a Master’s degree in Marketing.

She is inspired and excited by Maanch’s ambition to create an ecosystem which connects Funders and Receivers to tackle global problems. She believes that by leveraging technology and Maanch’s unique data-driven solution, we will be a catalyst to achieving real-world impact.

Cecilia Hersler

Director, External Relations

Cecilia has previously worked with professional wealth advisors and philanthropy sector organisations to increase knowledge and understanding of philanthropic giving and social investment in the UK and Europe. Before joining Maanch she worked as Director of Training and Development at Philanthropy Impact that works with wealth advisors, philanthropists, charities and governments to develop greater expertise, awareness, and impact in philanthropic action and social investment. Cecilia started her career in international development working at the Nordic liaison office for the World Food Programme in Copenhagen managing relationships with Swedish donors and strategic partners and before that in strategic partnerships at United Nations Association of Sweden in Stockholm.

She sees the Maanch platform as an excellent tool to bring impactful giving to a larger number of people and to raise awareness on how the SDGs can be an excellent guide to measure impact.

Vidhisha Masrani

Director, Marketing

Vidhisha has a masters in marketing with over 4 years of experience in growth and B2B marketing. At Maanch, she works between London and Mumbai leading brand & marketing for the company, brand and products. She is responsible for developing the Maanch marketing strategy, channels, and communications, leading growth marketing efforts for enabling business development and sales and building brand awareness and positioning for our portfolio of products.

Prior to Maanch, she has worked as a Marketing Lead at WeWork and as a Marketing Specialist at a leading tech company in India. Her strengths lie in acquisition marketing strategy, brand narrative and setting strong processes. She is passionate about creating impact through scalable solutions and aspires to grow as a marketing professional working at the intersection of technology and change enablement.

Matthew Billet

Executive Project Manager

Matthew has previously worked in management consulting organizations in a variety of roles, including project management, impact measurement and risk advisory. Before joining Maanch, he was a Senior Associate in the Risk Strategy & Compliance team at KPMG US in New York. He also holds a Master of Public Administration from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College in New York

Matthew is passionate about driving the impact measurement space forward so that social enterprises, funds and all other key impact stakeholders can accurately quantify and further add to the positive value they bring to our society.

Susie Steyn

Corporate Partnerships Manager

Susie qualified and worked as a corporate lawyer in South Africa and the United Kingdom. Before joining Maanch, she headed up Social Investment for international banking group Investec, as well as consulting to various corporates, social enterprises and charities, helping them to measure and communicate their social impact effectively.

Susie believes in the ability of the Maanch platform to leverage corporate operations and giving, to help to achieve the UN SDGs.

Anna Wallich

Communications Manager

With a Bachelor’s degree in English and Hispanic Studies, Anna is interested in how communication and collaboration can accelerate global impact. Her role at Maanch is in Marketing and Communications, helping build and maintain the Maanch brand image across networks.

She has previously worked for a variety of non-profits in Europe and Latin America addressing issues such as human rights and social development. This past experience has fed into her passion for enacting and enabling positive change. Anna believes that Maanch technology is exciting, unique and necessary, providing a real means of transforming the way people and organisations understand and deliver impact.

Emma Guitera

Impact Data & Relations Manager

Emma’s focus has been on international development, specifically the intersection between human rights law and good governance within firms, non-for-profits, and governments. She has previously worked in start-up structures, and has experience in business development, project management and sustainable consulting. French-Australian, Emma has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the London School of Economics and wrote her dissertation on Human Trafficking practices in Southeast Asia.

Emma strives for a better future, convinced that multi-stakeholder cooperation and real impact-driven action will be key drivers.

Heer Baxi

Finance and Impact Analyst

Heer Baxi works with Maanch’s product development team to scope and deliver tech solutions to track and report impact. Heer believes that the integration of technology in impact is necessary in catalysing positive change.

Previous to Maanch, Heer has worked with private equity and investment firms, with impact focuses. She has experience in sustainable finance and strong interests in green energy and FinTech. She is a graduate of Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and East Asian Studies, and wrote her thesis on water quality and reporting practices along the Ganges river in India.
