First global impact platform

Maanch serves a community of global changemakers to promote intelligent grantmaking
based on alignment between Funder and Receiver.

About the Business

Maanch was founded in 2018 by Darshita Gillies. Her idea for a business that fully supports the agenda for Sustainable Development was developed through her work with the UN on the SDGs from their inception.

As part of her work at Blu Dot Advisory, Darshita's fascination with the Goals culminated in her creation of an index to show how countries were performing against key sustainable development targets. This map was the spark that created Maanch, the first global platform dedicated to attaining the SDGs by 2030 through influencing the flow of funds across the Philanthropy sector.

Advisors Testimonials

In driving for the SDGs I am involved with academics who know, pragmatists who do and those who are driven by a higher purpose.
Darshita is one of those rare beings who combines all three and is a delight to work with!

Lord Stone of Blackheath

Darshita’s passion and determination to make a difference to the world via the Maanch platform is inspiring.
I am flattered to be able to advise and work with her.

Sundeep Bhandari

Maanch is the first platform I have seen that can effectively link investors and projects in the not for profit world and impact investment domain. In tracking capital flows from the developed to the developing world, the vast majority of capital flows through or via the private sector, with less than 20% of capital flowing through aid and philanthropy.

Andrew Macleod

How do you open the world’s heart and create the exponential shift to global well-being that so many of us want to make happen? Darshi’s response to this time-critical question by creating Maanch deeply resonates with my life’s work to facilitate personal transformation so people can solve our biggest problems together and lead.

Carissa Bub

The ability to be involved with an organisation that brings technology and social change together in a new way.

Chris Robinson

The Maanch Platform will exponentiate the matching of global capital to people and projects that can deliver on the SDGs and more importantly track and report on progress.

Dr. Jane Thomason

Maanch is of it’s time. The SDG’s are so important and yet sometimes feel a little distant or high level. Maanch provides a wonderful bridge, creating greater transparency and helping join the bigger dots for the outputs & outcomes we are all hoping to bring into the world.
